Welcome to Nuvema Town, the start of something big! Situated in the southeastern part of the Unova region, Nuvema Town is the home of Professor Juniper's Laboratory, where young hopefuls come to receive their starters in the Unova Region. Nestled among the woods, Nuvema Town sports an airfield and a port, welcoming travelers to the region.
Locations In Town
Juniper's Laboratory
Situated on the north end of town, Juniper's Laboratory is where youngsters of Unova go to receive their first Pokémon, either a Snivy, Tepig or an Oshawott. Juniper and her staff specialize in the origin of Pokémon.
Locations Around Town
Route 1
Lined with trees, Route 1 is a gentle road connecting Nuvema Town to Accumula Town in the north. Route 1 also hosts a spa-resort, famous for its hot spring. Branching off to the west is a shallow inlet, which connects to Route 17.
Route 17 & 18
A watery route found west from Route 1. Most of the area is shallow waters, but there are a few scattered islands, and the abandoned P2 Laboratory is located here. There are a lot of water currents here and the water currents going down will lead the player to Route 18, a beach and forest blessed island route.
Spa Resort
This resort is famous for its sand bath but had to close down because a group of Sandile was disturbing the customers. The route also hosted an earthen section which produced geysers. These trapped the Pokémon living around the area, but, with the help of the Sandile, the Pokémon were saved. The geysers flooded the valley, and the spa resort reopened, now as a hot spring.
