Welcome to Hamlin Island, the port closest to the indigo shores! Hamlin Island is the northernmost island in the Orange Archipelago. Because of its proximity, it serves as a gateway to the Kanto region. A ferry carries passengers between Pallet Town and a tiny island connected by a bridge to Hamlin Island. The city on Hamlin, aptly named "Hamlin City," is separated into three districts, with districts in the north, east, and west of the island.

Hamlin City
The city situated on Hamlin Island. It is separated into three districts, with districts in the north, east, and west of the island. The forests that separate the districts both have roads going through them for easy travel from district to district. Hamlin's northern district is home to its industrial district and its port, which allows for worldwide travel. Its east and west districts are home to Hamlin's more rural and urban settings.

Hamlin Port
A small island in the northern district that is connected to the Hamlin mainland by a bridge. It commonly offers a ferry service for travel to Pallet Town as well as larger ship travel for worldwide voyages.



Locations Around Town

Hamlin Mountain
A large mountain closest to the west district of Hamlin City. It is home to some Pokémon, as well as a rare, high altitude dwelling colony of Diglett and Dugtrio.
Linham Forest
The lush forest that lies on Hamlin Island, curving around the three districts of the city and growing up to the base of Hamlin Mountain. It is rife with many Grass and Bug-type Pokémon.
Orb-Ode Prairie
A lush green expanse to the south of Hamlin City's north district within Linham Forest. It is home to a relocated colony of Voltorb, Electrode, and Minetrode that once terrorized the city of Hamlin itself.
