Alabaster [Male Houndoom] — That translucent alabaster of our memories.
Alabaster has been with Christian for a very long time, ever since the boy got lost in the wilderness around Lilycove and stumbled into the Safari Zone. Alabaster is very protective of Christian, though he knows he really doesn't need to be, and he is extremely serious in contrast to some of Henry's team. Alabaster has a silence issue and rarely every speaks out, preferring to remain stoic. For a Houndoom, he's not particularly brash or vicious, but he's pretty good at fighting, and is typically Christian's first choice when faced with battle.

Martes [Female Sableye] — The flower of sweetest smell is shy and lowly.
Martes is extremely shy and often rides or hides on Christian's shoulder. She doesn't like to battle very much, but she will if Christian needs her to. Despite her shyness, she's quite inquisitive, as long as she can be so from her Trainer's shoulder. She'll often lean forward to get a better look at things from her perch, but she scares easily and often ducks back. Christian isn't fond of making her battle since he doesn't typically fight much anyways and prefers to let her remain a peaceful oxymoron to her species.

Elektron [Electrode] — Smart bombs... until they explode, of course.
Elektron is, without a doubt, the goofiest Electrode ever. It is prone is rolling around people it just met, all the while grinning widely. Often times Christian doesn't know what to do with the Pokémon, but he does use Elektron in battle due to the Electrode being someone more competent at the task than Martes is. Elektron is also the mascot of Christian's band, the Trodes. Elektron can be a bit of a hot wire and sometimes explodes without reason. He also takes part in some of the Trodes stage shows and effects.

Christian stands roughly five feet, ten inches tall with moderately broad shoulders. His eyes are chocolate brown. His skin is slightly tan, and his body is a pretty well and evenly toned. He has multiple piercings for a grand total of six: two lobe piercings on each ear, an industrial through his left ear, and one on the left side of his nose. He almost always wears silver studs or loop earrings. Around his neck he wears a gold chain with a gold ankh charm.

Clothing-wise he wears a black leather jacket over a red tank top. The jacket is covered with white designs on both sleeves and the left side of the chest. The designs are mostly paint splatters or "noise" in appearance, though there is a faint dotting of skulls. His pants are also black leather and have white designs to match the jacket on their right leg. He wears standard black kicks and a white square-stud belt with a silver wallet chain. He also wears black fingerless gloves.

Christian is a very suave individual. He's sure of himself and always knows how he should act, but that's no guarantee he will do it. He's prone to speaking his mind, and while he doesn't outright scorn people, he does think a bit less of those that scare easily and don't seek to overcome their fears. All in all, he's mostly easy going.

He can be quite an argumentative fellow, though, if you really rub him wrong. When he gets upset, he tends to take it out on his guitar in the form of rage music instead of on others. On the reverse side, he's very affectionate to his friends and family, and he values them deeply. He absolutely loves his husband and he fucking adores his son. (His tone, not mine.)

Phillip is a calm, easy going man with a positive outlook on most everything. He's very difficult to upset, and even then he is forgiving of anyone that does manage to do so. Phillip loves and supports his sons despite both of them following a path in life that Phillip initially disapproved of. He works at the Hoenn Safari Zone and values the preservation of wildlife.

A teacher at the Lilycove Middle School, Mary, like her husband, is a kind person. She also feared for their sons when Christian went off in his own direction and Jaxx on another, but she always believed in her boys and the fact that they could do whatever they put their minds to. She is a bit of a loon, but only because she loves kids/her students and likes to joke around with them.

Christian grew up in Lilycove City and lived there for his youth. Both of his parents were highly influential people in their community and believed very strongly in being "good neighbors" and such. (The Pokémon equivalent of strong believing Christians, what have you?) Either way, it rubbed off on Christian in his youth and it's why he'll never be outright vicious to any one.

As he grew, however, he began to become more in-tuned to music and rock in general. His parents weren't the type to reign him in over taste in music, and while it wasn't what they might have preferred to see their son choose in a career, they did support him 100%.

When Christian was eleven, he wandered a bit to far from home after a guitar lesson and ended up becoming lost. Alone and upset, Christian sat down to console himself by playing his instrument. The sound, however, called a Shiftry out of slumber and set the wild Pokémon on Christian. The boy ran. It was then that a Houndour also appeared and fended off the rogue Shiftry. The Houndour then proceeded to lead Christian home to Lilycove and eventually, after several visits in the wilds from the boy, the Dark/Fire-type stayed with him and was named Alabaster.

Christian's other Pokémon, Martes and Elektron were catches he made on two separate trips. Electron he captured on a tour by his high school of New Mauville, when he split from the group with his best friend Dashiell. The then Voltorb followed Christian home, practically tripping him the whole way. Martes was a different story. His family took a trip to Dewford Town for summer vacation and he fended off a flock of Zubat in the Sableye's defense. She's stuck with him ever since.

Time would pass and Christian would eventually make a band with a handful of friends when he turned nineteen: Dashiell Morten on drums, Iden "Iota" Smalls on bass and Sallisse "Salli" Harr as vocals. Together they were the Trodes. They rose to fame relatively slowly at first, but their third single "Flash Fire" caused them a sudden rise in fame of region renown.

When Christian turned twenty-one, the Trodes did a tour of the Kanto and Johto region. Their show at Ecruteak eventually lead to Christian's move there and the temporary hiatus of the band. It was also when Christian met Henry. The guitarist and the DJ hit it off with ease, and though they had some rough spots, they ended up loving one another. After about a year or two of being together, and Christian being a way from the band... Iota, Dashiell and Salli made the move to Ecruteak and signed with the Ecruteak Music Studio. The Trodes were back in business!

With both a successful band and a boyfriend to go with, Christian settled happily into Ecruteak. When he and Henry were both twenty-four, they adopted Thyssen, their then three-year-old son. Christian continues to record with his friends and continues to love his family to this day.

Christian allowed a small smile to creep over his lips as he walked down the roads of Lilycove. Visiting home had refreshed him completely. All his creative nodes were buzzing with ideas, and he expected that by the time he reached Johto, he would have a new song written and ready to go, if not two.

The man shifted his guitar more comfortably onto his back as he entered the Lilycove Dock and made his way to the ticket booth. Alabaster, his Houndoom, padded along silently beside him, his head held high in pride. The dog-like Pokémon was eager to return back to Johto as well.

Christian grinned and peered through the window at the woman behind the counter. "I need a ticket for passage to Olivine, please."
