Onix [Male]: Onix was one of the Pokémon raised by Clyde, but given to Henry on his tenth birthday. He has bonded with his trainer over the years they spent together. He is most likely the strongest Pokémon Henry has for his team so far. He is very loyal to his trainer, and follows all commands without hesitation.
Ability: Sturdy
Moves: Dig, Iron Tail, Dragon Breath, Slam, Rock Tomb, Rock Throw, Bind, Harden, Tackle, Stealth Rock
Cubone [Male]: Cubone was a gift from Clyde when Henry announced he would leave for Sinnoh. He is very serious in almost everything, from battling to socialization. He is a natural leader however, but that leads to it struggling to follow what Henry orders him to do. His trainer trusts Cubone however, even when it may be disobedient.

Chimchar [Male]: Chimchar was given to Henry when he met Professor Rowan in Sinnoh. He is very jolly, always playing around and laughing. While being a skilled battler, he is more interested in having fun than winning. He is very outgoing, and loves to meet new people and Pokémon alike. Henry usually keeps Chimchar out of it's Poké Ball due to his outgoing nature.
Ability: Blaze
Moves: Flame Wheel, Fury Swipes, Taunt, Ember, Scratch, Leer, Rock Smash

Henry is six feet tall and weighs two hundred ten pounds with a bulky figure. He has short brown hair, his eyes are blue and his skin is beige. He carries a small bag to carry his Pokeballs, his supplies for digging, and anything else of note. He usually wears a wrist watch on his left wrist so he can keep track of time in the Underground, and usually keeps it on him throughout the day.
On a normal day, Henry wears a plain white shirt, which is most of the time covered in dirt, covered up by a brown leather jacket. He usually wears jeans and an old pair of running shoes. Usually, his jacket and jeans are covered in dirt whenever he digs. Normally, he tries to carry his pickaxe with him because it became habit for him to carry it around just in case he goes to the Underground to dig for fossils.

Henry is somewhat competitive in battles, and always trying to go for the win. However, he can handle losing battles. He is intelligent and a fast thinker both in digging, battling, and other situations. He is very outgoing and loves to meet new people to become friends with. He tends to be polite as possible to his friends and is very kind as well.
Henry would do anything to protect his Pokémon and to impress other people. He is very trustworthy and if you become friends with him, he will be very loyal. He is very quick to anger, and is often impatient. While he may seem tough on the outside, he is very sensitive. One thing that he hates it when someone treats Pokémon badly. He usually learns from his mistakes, and depending on the mistake, might try to make sure it doesn't happen.

Henry was born in Goldenrod City to Clyde and Megan Silva, two veteran trainers. The two had hoped that their son would follow in their footsteps one day and often told him stories of their journeys across multiple regions, the friends they met, and rivals they competed against. Growing up, Henry became intrigued with these stories and awaited the chance to go on his own journey.
Henry was three when his younger brother, Jason, was born. Growing up together, the two brothers formed an bond commonly shared with siblings. Yet, as they grew older, they often competed against each other in various activities, sparking a rivalry between them. Yet, no matter what happened, the two always close friends to each other.
Turning 10, Henry was given his first Pokémon, Onix, by his father. Clyde believed that the Rock Snake Pokémon was a perfect match to his eldest son. Yet, even with a Pokémon, Henry did not leave on his own journey. Instead, he thought it would be best to wait for Jason to get his own Pokémon in three years, and remained in Goldenrod City for that duration.
When Henry was 13, Jason finally received his first Pokémon, a Scyther, and challenged his older brother to a battle. With the clear advantage, the elder brother took the win with ease. This prompted Jason to train his Pokémon harder, refusing to go on a journey until he could beat his brother. Henry agreed to his brother's request and continued to put off his journey until then.
During this period, he discovered a passion for history, and instead of training Onix, he focused on studying more of it. Growing older, Henry figured that Jason would never be able to beat him and made plans for the rest of his future. Turning 17, Henry had his plan in mind. He would travel to Sinnoh and learn more about history there. When telling his parents of this, they gave their approval, with his father giving his son an egg, which would later hatch into Cubone.
Unlike his parents, Jason was enraged when he discovered his older brother's plans, and trained harder, remembering their promise. The younger brother challenged Henry to a battle, hoping that by beating him, he would stay and go on a journey with him. He accepted and was quickly shocked to discovered that Jason had evolved his Scyther into Scizor at the start of the battle. Having neglected Onix's training and lacking the previous type advantage, Henry was soon defeated by his younger brother.
Jason was excited, believing that his brother would keep his promise. Yet, Henry declared that despite losing, he had no plans on traveling and intended to study in Sinnoh. This led to a massive fight between the brothers: Henry blamed his younger brother for not leaving on their journey sooner while Jason accused him of breaking his promise. In the end, nothing came of their argument, and once he turned 18, he boarded a plane and moved to Oreburgh City to begin his new life.
Henry took up a job as a miner in the Underground to help earn money while he studied up on history in the local library. It was not much but it got him by. From working in the Underground, he started to learn more about the earth and became accustomed to caves and their habits. Digging for fossils continued to fuel his passion for history.
Turning 20, Henry managed to meet Professor Rowan. Although the meeting was brief, it was very insightful for the young man. At the end of their meeting, the professor gave him two parting gifts. The first was his very own Pokédex while the second was a Chimchar, who would become very close with Henry. With that, the professor left, and Henry went on with his studies.
Shortly after Henry turned 21, he received an unexpected call from Jason. Slowly, the two apologized over the fight they had three years ago and patched things up. Before hanging up, Jason issued one final call to his brother: whichever one of them became a champion first would be the superior trainer. Although he wished to continue studying, Henry realized that he shared some of the blame for that fight, breaking his promise. With this in mind, he accepted, ready to see who would come out on top.

Yet, to the Plate user who summons the sandstorm, it would be more of a boon than a disadvantage as it hardens the skin, allowing for a better defense. The sand won't affect their eyes as much, but a Plate user will still need something to help them see better.│

Pickax: Henry's weapon of choice is a simple yet sturdy pickax. At first, he used it only to help with his work down in the Sinnoh Underground. However, after being caught in the Darkspawn incursion at Ilex Forest, he was forced to use the pickax to defend himself against the grunts. After being terminated from his job down in Sinnoh, he kept the pickax with him due to personal value.

Henry walked slowly through one of the tunnels in Oreburgh Mine. This wasn't the first time he has been here, having gone to the Underground through here. However, he wasn't going down to the Underground again, but looking for somewhere large enough for his Onix. He usually keeps him in his Poké Ball, unlike Cubone or Chimchar, due to his rather large size. With the recent news, he decided he would have to tell all of his Pokémon at once.
He came into a rather large part of the Mines. Large enough for an Onix to fit in. He took out three Pokeballs, and threw them towards the open space. All of his Pokémon were out, and looked confused. It wasn't very often for all three of them to be in the same area at once. Chimchar started to run around, playing around with an average size rock, while Onix and Cubone were looking at their trainer.
"Well, only Onix knows about Jason's rivalry with me." Onix nodded, remembering back when it use to battle Jason's Scyther. "Well, he made us a challenge to end the rivalry. This isn't a battle he challenged us." Chimchar, still playing with the rock, noticed that his trainer was talking, and paid attention. "The challenge for us is to beat Jason to the championship. We'll start right here at home tomorrow, and head to the Gym." This was all he needed to tell his team for now. He took out their Pokeballs, and called them back in. He smiled to himself, and began to walk out of the Mines.
