Sneasel [Female]: Harold befriended Sneasel when he was nine, and captured her four years later. She is clever, intelligent, and skillful when it comes to criminal acts. The Sharp Claw Pokémon prefers not to fight unless it is absolutely necessary. Although they often disagree, Harold keeps Sneasel around because of their bond over the years.

Gligar [Male]: Gligar was given to Harold when he joined Team Snagem to give him a better Pokémon team. He remains calm in almost every situation, and thinks before acting. The Fly Scorpion Pokémon has proven himself loyal to his trainer on many occasions by providing him with escape. Harold keeps Gligar around just in case he needs to make a quick getaway.

Shelgon [Male]: Shelgon was given to Harold during his time in Team Snagem for his service and evolved during his time in Johto in order to protect his trainer. Harold keeps Shelgon around since neither Sneasel or Gligar are not good when it comes to Pokémon battles.
Ability: Rock Head
Move Pool: Rage, Headbutt, Protect, Dragon Breath, Ember, Focus Energy, Zen Headbutt, Bite

Harold stands at five feet and nine inches and weighs a hundred and thirty pounds. He has a slim figure, and his skin is tanned from the harsh sun of Orre. He keeps his black hair short and clean so it doesn't get in the way of his green eyes. He occasionally wears a bandana over his nose and mouth to help conceal his identity whenever he's on the run. He also carries a small bag to carry anything he steals.
Harold wears a different version of the Team Snagem uniform. Instead of a red jacket, he wears a black hoodie with a white shirt underneath. He wears blue jeans, a pair of gloves, and a pair of running shoes. Additionally, he wears a belt which has his Pokeballs attached to it. Also, there are pouches sewed on as well, each carrying a tool either used to help with his thefts or help evade capture, depending on the situation.

Harold is best known for his greed, and whenever he wants something, he tends to try to get it. He tends to stay behind himself, and usually befriends other people if they're either useful to him or have something he wants. However, he is smooth and charismatic, which allows him to talk to and befriend others with ease. He tries not to form bonds with either Pokémon or people, seeing how it's possible that they can be broken.
Harold tends to be paranoid as well, which contributes to him staying by himself. Strangely enough, he lives by a code as a thief, and knows that there are some lines he will not cross during a theft, such as killing someone or leaving someone else to take the blame. He tends to study the situation beforehand, and doesn't rush into things unless it's an emergency. Despite being a loner, it is possible for him to open up to someone, but it is generally a rare thing.

Harold was born in Pyrite Town to Willis and Ashley Grimes. His parents struggled to keep a stable job and were fired often for various reasons. As such, the family did not have a lot of money and lived in poverty. Harold grew tired of his family's living conditions and often dreamed about leaving to explore Orre one day.
When he was nine, he found a Sneasel while walking home from school one day. Fascinated by the Pokémon, Harold tried to befriend it, and soon discovered that she was starving, not doing well herself. Despite not having too much food himself, he offered some food to the Sneasel, Through this kind gesture, he earned the Sharp Claw Pokémon's trust and loyalty before the two went their separate ways.
Arriving at home, Harold told his parents about the Sneasel he befriended and tried to convince them to let him leave home to see the rest of the world as a trainer. They immediately rejected his plan, thinking it was too dangerous for him to leave at his age. This led to a fight between the family, with Harold eventually declaring he had no family. He ran away from home, and despite his parents calling out for him, he never turned back.
Harold thought living off the streets would be easy, yet during the next four years, he realized how terrible it was. With no money, he could not afford food and he was unable to find a steady source of clean water. The days were hot and the nights cold for the young youth. Yet, he was determined not to run back home, insisting that he did not need his family anymore.
When Harold was 14, he was reunited with the Sneasel he befriended long ago. Feeling that she owed the human, the Pokémon helped the young teen by teaching him how to live as a criminal. They took turns being the distraction and the dummy, and with the Sharp Claw Pokémon's help, Harold managed to get by on the streets. Yet, growing up, he soon realized that he did not steal for survival, but rather because he enjoyed it, becoming very greedy.
Harold made the unfortunate mistake of trying to steal from a grunt of Team Snagem when he was 16. Both he and his Sneasel were caught and brought before one of the commanders of the criminal gang. Impressed with the teen's skill and partnership with his Pokémon, the commander offered Harold the opportunity to work as a grunt for Team Snagem. Seeing the gang as a way to survive and earn more cash, he accepted without hesitation.
Working as a grunt for Snagem, Harold officially captured Sneasel and was given a Gligar to aid in thefts. His plans for being a pickpocket became more complicated, with him making use of sleight of hand to steal money and Pokémon alike. After two years of faithful service, he was promoted to lieutenant and given a Bagon by his superiors. Continuing to serve the gang, Harold started to view Team Snagem as a second family, and unlike his parents, he had no intentions of running away from this one.
Yes, eventually, Team Snagem disbanded when Harold was 20, leaving the young man alone to fend for himself again. Feeling betrayed once more, he made a promise: he would never serve another criminal gang again and work by himself. For the next seven years, he did just that, performing bigger heists and stealing a lot of money. The cops tried chasing after the thief, but usually, he was one step ahead of the officers, and got away.
Yet, one day, he was almost caught, and barely managed to escape from the law. Realizing that he was no longer safe in Orre, Harold knew that he could try returning to a normal life or leave the region to continue his life of crime. Still desiring more cash, Harold assumed the identity of Harrison Grimes and sneaked onto a ship at Gateon Port. Now on the run, he plans for the next big heist.

Harold stared out in the direction of Orre, but with the fog rolling in, it started to disappear. Sure, the fog along with the darkness of night did make it easier to sneak on the ship, but he wanted to look at Orre one last time. The region grew on him, and he hated to leave it. Still, he was almost arrested, and now, Harold Grimes was a wanted man. Luckily, he was only wanted in Orre, and while he doesn't know where this ship will take him, it'll be somewhere safe. All he had to do was go by a new name, Harrison, and make sure that he didn't make the same mistakes as before. As the fog covered his sight, he turned around. Maybe there was something valuable to be found on this ship, and since he didn't have anything else to do, it was worth looking into.
