Qubeley [Female Larvitar] — Be happy for the moment.
A cute munchkin that was given to her despite not passing the testing to be a New-Type, Qubeley is less like those in its family and more like her own. A ball of sass and energy, Qubeley often imitates Elpeo to a close degree, down to actions, speech patterns, and personality quirks. The Pokémon now has something of a rivalry with Mansa, Purutu's Larvitar.

Karico [Male Eevee] — You are the sunshine that makes my day.
Purchased by the girl's mother when she was young, Karico is one of Elpeo's closest friends and her oldest Pokémon. Karico is a gentle creature in contrast to Elpeo's own nature. The Pokémon is fond of sleeping in the sunlight and sleeping in Elpeo's lap on silent days. During the month or two where Elpeo and her sister were under Glemy's care, Karico was confined solely to his Poké Ball, which has lead him to abhor the capsule and its confines.

Purin [Female Jigglypuff] — There are so many beautiful reasons to be happy.
A small, shy ball of fun. Purin is Elpeo's most recent Pokémon. The creature spends most of her time curled up in Elpeo's satchel sleeping. She gets along swimmingly with Karico, but is scared of most other Pokémon, even those that attempt to be  friendly with her. Elpeo named her herself, choosing an altered form of the sound effect that Elpeo favors, "puru."

Haro [Male Gulpin] — Haro haro?
Haro is one of the Gulpin that once belonged to Glemy Toto when Elpeo lived with the Cruz family in Nimbasa City and Castelia City. When her elder sister Marida broke them all out of bondage to their oppressive parents, Elpeo accidentally stole Haro. By accidentally, Elpeo was simply holding the Pokémon's Poké Ball when they were fleeing, and now she claims ownership of the small creature. Basically still an infant, Haro spends most of his time rolling about and lolling in a puddle at the feet of the five sisters.

A young teenager, Elpeo has yet to really hit her growth spurt and still looks young for her age. She shares Marida and Purutu's copper colored hair and violet eyes, though her face is a bit more round than  the other two. Her eyes are wide and bright, having a clear light behind them, and Elpeo has a wide smile. Her ears are pierced, and she most often wears silver studs with feathers on them in her earlobes.

Clothing-wise, Elpeo wears bright and exotic-looking clothing. She wears midriff tank tops in bright yellows and greens, often tying a loose shawl or scarf around her shoulders. Elpeo wears skirts to match, usually tied off at the hip. She also favors stockings and short boots and arm warmers. When she's not wearing this style of clothing, she wars coveralls and frilly sleeved onesies in a deep pink color.

Elpeo and Purutu were born to Amaria Cruz in Kalos. Growing up in a cottage just outside Lumiose City, the young girls never wanted for much and were bundles of joy, though Purutu could be something of a handful rather than a bundle. They knew little of their father, and truthfully their age afforded them little curiosity about the presently absent man. Amaria did her finest at raising them, giving them all her love, though the girls now remark that there was something distant in her gaze sometimes, as if she was lost in a dream...

As fate would have it though, all of Amaria's good will could not prop up her failing health, and she passed away, leaving behind the nine year olds. So it was that the Cruz family received word by the way of a death certificate that Amaria Cruz had passed away. Having stayed in hiding all these long years, Amaria had given birth to Jaeygen's last children. Raising them in secrecy, the woman's surprise death left Jaeygen their only relative and, thus, their guardian. Something in Marida snapped that day, when the nine year old girls showed up, confused by their surroundings and suddenly thrust into the same life style she had secretly come to despise.

Abhorring the thought of a third generation of New-Type, Marida lashed out shortly after the girls were brought to Nimbasa and Purutu was chosen to be the next to join them at Castelia's facility. Organizing an exodus with her stepsister, Shia, Marida's chilling rage and Aila's keen battle tactics were directed at the scientists and teachers surrounding them. Though unintentional, Jeagen suffered a heart attack as Marida and her Pokémon rampaged from Castelia to the Cruz Estate, and Nordia and Glemy only barely escaped with their lives. Marida and Shia then together spirited away the rest of their family, the five sisters together disappearing into the night.

Presently, the girls live in the outskirts of Lumiose City, Kalos. Though their shared trauma of harsh parents and relatives has left them all shocked and scarred, they have made a fresh start for themselves in the same cottage Amaria owned in Kalos.
