Mansa [Female Shiny Larvitar] — Mansa! Take them down! All out attack, go!
A silent and reserved Pokémon, Mansa was given to Purutu shortly after her implants were surgically applied. The Larvitar is the Pokémon Purutu used in her short tenure under the New-Type Project, and, as such, they have yet to bond too much beyond that despite the couple years they've lived together after escaping. Mansa herself is a different coloration than normal Larvitar. As a result, she is cautious due to the attention she usually received for the coloration.

Hacchia [Male Swarmeon] — I've never seen something so streamlined for winning.
Purchased to test Purutu's ability to use a ranged Pokémon, Hacchia is the Pokémon that the girl has trained the most with, even now. Hacchia is protective of Elpeo's Eevee, often curling up to sleep with the smaller Pokémon. Very quick to anger and quick to attack, Hacchia is not the best fighter on his own, but when paired up with Purutu, he can be very capable.

Nixie [Female Eimbrina] — L-look... I can like cute things too, okay?
Found shortly after the sisters fled to Kalos, Nixie was the Pokémon that began to break Purutu out of her shell. After the New-Type Project made her withdraw, Nixie reached out to her. Something about the cute, little hyena-creature eventually brought out Purutu's human side again. The girl still unconsciously gathers the creature up in her arms sometimes to bury her face in its soft fur.

Purutu is most comfortable in an armored leotard and form fitting clothing. She loves red and black, often wearing a mixture. Her favorite outfit is a black leotard with yellow stripes and a red chest piece with boots. When she doesn't wear this somewhat unorthodox outfit, she wears jeans and t-shirts, favoring clothing that's more loose than necessary.

As fate would have it though, all of Amaria's good will could not prop up her failing health, and she passed away, leaving behind the nine year olds. So it was that the Cruz family received word by the way of a death certificate that Amaria Cruz had passed away. Having stayed in hiding all these long years, Amaria had given birth to Jaeygen's last children. Raising them in secrecy, the woman's surprise death left Jaeygen their only relative and, thus, their guardian. Something in Marida snapped that day, when the nine year old girls showed up, confused by their surroundings and suddenly thrust into the same life style she had secretly come to despise.

Abhorring the thought of a third generation of New-Type, Marida lashed out shortly after the girls were brought to Nimbasa and Purutu was chosen to be the next to join them at Castelia's facility. Organizing an exodus with her stepsister, Marida's chilling rage and Aila's keen battle tactics were directed at the scientists and teachers surrounding them. Though unintentional, Jeagen suffered a heart attack as Marida and her Pokémon rampaged from Castelia to the Cruz Estate, and Nordia and Glemy only barely escaped with their lives. Marida and Shia then together spirited away the rest of their family, the five sisters together disappearing into the night.

Presently, the girls live in the outskirts of Lumiose City, Kalos. Though their shared trauma of harsh parents and relatives has left them all shocked and scarred, they have made a fresh start for themselves in the same cottage Amaria owned in Kalos.

New-Type: A stimulant and implant-induced ability that allows her synapses to process ideal battle methodologies faster than the rest. Though this ability is now weaker now that the implant aiding it has been removed, Purutu is still keenly aware of battle methodology and skills.
