Pokédex Entry: Benevolent Pokémon, Azuale were far more common in the past than they are in present day. Many attribute this to the recent discovery that they thrive in cooler climates and rising temperatures due to global warming have changed the world's climate.

Continuing the theme of their pre-evolved form, Azuale are blue, gryphon-like creatures, and are believed to be the inspiration for the myths. Their wings have grown large and wide, and Azuale's near horse size makes them idea flying mounts. Blue in color, their feathers are patterned after a bluejay, with whiter blues and blacks banding across their forms. Their tail remains cat-like, with the same quail banding as before. Shiny Azuale are still purple, like shiny Azulif.

Etymology: Azuale is a combination of the words azure, lazuli and gale.

Special Abilities: None.

Behavior: Like their younger forms, Azuale are friendly and helpful and smart. When they evolve, however, they become very protective of their pre-evolved forms, with even males residing over flocks as a parenting form of guardian. As a combatant, Azuale prefer a dodge-and-attack-from-above method, keeping themselves out of the direct line of fighting.

Habitat: Forests and plains across Europe and North America.

Diet: Fruits and seeds.
