Pokédex Entry: It is rumored they once used their shamanistic powers to help an ancient civilization cope with life in the desert. Until only a few years ago they were thought to be extinct. Now researchers believe they were merely mourning the loss of an ancient city.

A feline roughly the size of a small child, they are a sandy-gold in color and covered with short, soft fur. Their body is "clad" in a shawl like feature that bears tan-brown feathers with white tips. Ruffles of white feathers dress their chests, and a hood that rests over the top of its head. Hands peek out of the winged sleeves of the shawl, each hand purple with white claws. Tomohawk have long gold tails with two feathers on the end.

Etymology: Tomohawk is a play on the word tomahawk, and also incorporates tom from tom cat.
Gender Differences: Female Tomohawk bear smaller eye markings on their shawls.
Special Abilities: Having attained the power via evolution, Tomohawk are able to fly. They are also able to use their powers as shamans of their species to grant individuals the ability to stave off thirst, a useful skill in the hot climates of the desert areas of the North American midwest.
Behavior: Pairs bond and mate for life, raising broods of three to ten at a time. They are known for being very protective, secretive and solemn. They are reclusive, hiding themselves and their young from strangers. Up until a few years ago, they were thought to be extinct. Very proud creatures, they take on any worthy challenge presented to them.
Habitat: Tomohawk live in the mountains and scrub lands of the midwest North America region. They thrive in habitats that are sunny and warm.
Diet: Like most predatory Pokémon, Tomohawk live off of the herbivor Pokémon. They primarily hunt Flying-type Pokémon that live in the scrublands.
