Height: 0.8m / 0'08"
Weight: 6.6kg / 14.6lbs
Gender Ratio: 50% Male ♂ / 50% Female ♀

Evolves From: Tomalant (Level 24)
Evolves To: N/A
Pokédex Entry: Tomalant often live in the same Tamato Berry trees that they were born in, sticking to the thickest viney growths of the plants. They are protective of Matoma, throwing unripened fruit from their vines at foes on the ground and often shaking the whole tree to deter off predators.

With a body looking like a bundle of leaves or a cabbage, Tomalant is the evolved form of Matoma. Its body is a darker green than its leaves, which are pale. Two of these leaves serve almost like arms, allowing it to move around with ease and a larger one sprouts from its back. The Pokémon sports pink markings on its cheeks, giving it the appearance of a blush.

Etymology: Tomalant is a combination of the words tomato and plant.
Gender Differences: None.
Special Abilities: One of the few Pokémon known to carry its young about before the eggs are laid.
Behavior: Tomalant is not unlike its pre-evolved form in that it will avoid predators, especially given the abundance of edible fruit Tomalant bears. As such, Tomalant often live in the same Tamato Berry trees that they were born in, sticking to the thickest viney growths of the plants. They are protective of Matoma, throwing unripened fruit from their vines at foes on the ground and often shaking the whole tree to deter off predators. That being said, Tamato orchards generally like having Tomalant around, as they will also protect the trees themselves in return for being allowed to live in them and they don't mind when harvest comes around so long as they get to eat some of the harvest themselves.
Habitat: Wherever Tamatoes are commercially grown, Tomalant is not far behind.
Diet: Herbivorous, though Tomalant can subside off of just water and sunshine for weeks at a time.
