Pokédex Entry: It's said that this Pokémon is able to communicate with spirits. When in the location of a past tragedy, it weeps. Necturna are said to have a harder time trusting the living than the dead.

Looking for all the world like a woman in hakama and gi, Necturna is a human-sized Pokémon that floats a little ways off the ground. They bear a bonnet-like head that is framed with red fangs. The body and is made up of petal-like "sleeves" that are white in color, while from the waist down they bear a black skirt that is decorated with white fangs. This skirt, really their mouth, is capable of opening up and is used for attacks, like a Mawile. From their waist grows a thorny vine that curves up to rest on their head. This vine ends in a secondary set of eyes. Shiny Necturna are much the same color as normal Necturna, only their skirts are red.


Etymology: Necturna is a combination of the words nectar, nocturnal and eternal.
Gender Differences: None. Necturna is an all female species.
Special Abilities: Due to their nature, Necturna have the ability to re-nourish life back into destroyed plant-life. They can also sense dishonesty.
Behavior: Having evolved from a Necturine, Necturna are solemn Pokémon that deeply revere nature. They will attack violent anyone that seeks to harm the forests in which they live, being incredibly protective of such places. They plant seeds in places that have been deforested, some of which grow into new Necturine. They are very adverse to humankind, fleeing from any that come into sight of them.
Habitat: They live primarily in the forests furthest from civilization in Japan, north of Kanto and Johto.
Diet: It is said they take sustenance from moonlight, in a strange form of reverse photosynthesis that relies on the reflected sunlight off of the moon. They also harvest the dead essence of dead plant-life.
