A deceptively small creature, Chilime is the size of a Pikachu, more or less. A small white rodent, they have short limbs, tiny paws and massive heads with chubby cheek pouches. Though they are primarily off-white in color, the accents on their body are a lime green, from the stripes and tufts on its head to the small circular design on its belly and the tips of its paws and tail. A Chilime's green cheek pouches can expand vastly beyond their apparent size when a Chilime decides they want to store some seed or fruit in it. Chilime has a small button-like nose and wide eyes. Every Chilime is the proud owner of two round ears with small notches in them. Lastly, the chipmunk Pokémon has two large buck teeth, which it uses to peel the skin off of citrus fruits.

Etymology: Chilime is a combination of the words chipmunk and lime.

Gender Differences: None.

Special Abilities: They can store a whole lime in one cheek.

Behavior: A native of the tropics, Chilime and its evolved forms are small mammals that fulfill several important functions in forest ecosystems. Their activities of harvesting and hoarding fruit play a crucial role in seedling establishment and they devour fruit and in return leave droppings of the seeds to fall to the ground. While most rodent Pokémon burrow, Chilime make nests or nest in knots and holes in tree trunks, spending their whole lives in the trees which they are born in. They are fiercely defensive of their treetop homes, pelting foreigners with twigs, rocks and fruit pits.

Habitat: Exclusively the tropics and exclusively in forests where citrus plants thrive. They are common sights in rainforests and small islands of the equator all across the world.

Diet: Frugivorous, dining explicitly on fruit and seeds of fruits. They favor citrus, especially limes and lemons, but will venture to any fruit available that they can find.
