Pokédex Entry: A curious Pokémon that few ever see. A myth of the jungles of South America, Quwaurzel almost never appears and some consider the species extinct. Many modern Pokémon Collectors consider Quwaurzel a rare prize, though many never find it..

A large Pokémon native to South America, Quwaurzel looks for all the world like a hoofed mammal wearing a large, over featured mask. A thick main surrounds its neck and spikes out over its back in various reds and blues. Two tendrils of yellow come from the mask's beak. A short looped tail sprouts from its rear. Quwaurzel's forepaws are claws, while its back feet are hoofed, cloven like a goat.

Etymology: Quwaurzel has no apparent etymology, but appears to imitate loanwords and spellings common to Mayan culture.
Gender Differences: None.
Special Abilities: Quwaurzel is able to impress its Psychic powers onto others and trick people into thinking it is another species of Pokémon or a human.
Behavior: Quwaurzel are very reclusive, and are in fact often considered a myth. They wear heave masks over their faces, no one has ever seen their true face and some say that they might not even have one. Mysterious creatures, they typically only come out of hiding to join with a trainer, and are even reclusive around other Pokémon. They use their Psychic powers into making people think they are larger or stronger than they really are, and, while the person is under the spell, they flee to safety and shadow.
Habitat: Quwaurzel live in the deep glades of the Amazon rainforest.
Diet: Vegetation of any kind, but they prefer fruits and nuts.
