Pokédex Entry: Small enough to fit in the palm of a person's hand, they make popular pets for youngsters and beginning Trainers. Their large appetite can get out hand swiftly, though, and they will quickly devour most food presented to them.

One of the smallest mouse-like Pokémon, Hamstore is reddish brown in color with a tan belly and markings. The creature's head is almost twice the size of its small body, with large cheeks that it often stores food in. Tiny ears perk out of its head and a tiny little tail perks out of its bum. Hamstore's nose and yes are both solid black. The little hamster is almost never seen without a berry of some kind. Shiny Hamstore are black in color with dark gray markings.

Etymology: Hamstore is a combination of the words hamster and store.

Special Abilities: None.

Behavior: Shy, nervous little Pokémon, Hamstore run from human contact and hide in their warrens, like most rodents. They live in groups of anywhere from twenty to one hundred individuals and form strong knit social bonds with their kind. When they are encountered in the wild or in battle, they are found to be quite strong attackers, using their sharp teeth to hurt their foes.

Habitat: Meadows.

Diet: Herbivorous.
