Not much taller than a foot in height, Scratchet is a small little ball of yellow and brown fur. It is capable of standing upright on stubbed back legs. Its chest and arms are white with purple pads on their hands. The fur on its body is thicker and darker in color than the golden fur on its face, tail and paws. Scratchet noses are red, while their eyes are dark brown. Markings on their backs are general violet in color. Shiny Scratchet are documented as having blue fur rather than brown fur, as well as red markings in place of violet.

Etymology: Scratchet is a combination of the words scratch and hatchet.
Gender Differences: Female Scratchet have shorter manes.
Special Abilities: Scratchet are known for being very loud. Their roars have been documented as being able to shatter glass.
Behavior: Known for being rambunctious and restless and very playful, Scratchet are often seen in groups, known as prides, of three to ten, often lead by a Tomohawk pair. They treat their elder Tomohawk with respect that they don't typically show any other species of Pokémon. They are often seen chasing Sigilyph in attempt to catch them, as they are deeply inspired by the ability of flight.
Habitat: Scratchet live in the mountains and scrub lands of the midwest North America region. They thrive in habitats that are sunny and warm.
Diet: Like most predatory Pokémon, Scratchet live off of the herbivore Pokémon. They primarily hunt Flying-type Pokémon that live in the scrublands. When very young, they rely on Tomohawk pride-leaders as bringers of food.
