Significantly larger than Schluwurz, Mamflanz is a large rotund creature. Brown in color, the Pokémon has no neck and stubby, fat limbs and a tubby looking tail. Its under-belly is still green, as are the numerous more spots on its back. Leaves still sprout from its back in multiple places and now also grow from its tail. A Mamflanz's mouth it equipped with huge teeth that it uses to grind up the tough roots of large plants and trees. Shiny Mamflanz are grayish brown with teal undercoats and blue growths or leaves.

When stepped on by passing humans or Pokémon, they will emerge and attack.
