Pokédex Entry: Burrmudail's beautiful, crystalline feathers are highly sought after by collectors. If a Burrmudail bestows one to you, it is a sign of good luck.

A large petrel-like bird, Burrmudial is fantastically beautiful. Often people remark on how stunning the creature is when they first see one in person. With a downy white body and purple pinions, the tips and guide feathers of BurrmudaIl's wings are encased in blue-white ice, cold to the touch. Its tail is rather short, though it has two long feathers that end with a wider tip and a purple rosette on each one. A purple crest rises up over Burrmudail's head, framing stern eyes. The beak and claws of the bird are yellow in color.

Etymology: Burrmudial is a combination of the words burr, Bermuda, and tail.
Gender Differences: None. Burrmudial is an all male species. Suweylli is its female companion species.
Special Abilities: None.
Behavior: A rare and illustrious Pokémon, Burrmudail is uncommonly spotted where flocks of Suwanni and Bluffin live. It remains a distant contact to these flocks, often only moving into them for one month out of the year when Burrmudail and Suweylli breed. They are fiercely territorial, with males controlling a number of flocks and fighting for breeding rights. Their feathers are a symbol of good luck, and it takes extremely high temperatures to melt them, leading to stray or poached Burrmudail feathers being souvenir.
Habitat: The middle and north of the India Region. They winter at Mt. Everest. Tropical islands are also common.
Diet: Fish and small insects primarily, but they also feed on berries and roots and tubers.
