Pokédex Entry: Klaatu are playful creatures, often performing tricks and illusions to entertain both Pokémon and people. though they're still learning how to perform more complex tricks. They're very good at disappearing acts.

A short, floating creature hidden entirely by its large black magician-styled top hat, and all-covering purple robe. From the darkness beneath the brim of its hat, two solid pink eyes flit about. Klaatu have no legs and no arms, instead possessing two floating gloves for hands, one of which carries a classic magician's magic wand.

Etymology: Klaatu is a reference to The Day the Earth Stood Still and Army of Darkness.
Gender Differences: None. Klaatu is an all male species.
Special Abilities: Klaatu's hands can extend up to fifteen feet away from their body, and phase through solid matter.
Behavior: Klaatu are playful and showy, typically being very social and interactive with humans especially in comparison to other Dark-type Pokémon. They rarely form connections with other Klaatu, preferring to hog the spotlight for themselves, but will follow around Barada and Nicto to learn from their seniors. In rare cases, more meek and inexperienced Klaatu will form troupes and travel together.
Habitat: Outside of areas that commonly host fairs and festivals, or even night clubs and theatre houses. Away from human habitats, Klaatu can be found inhabiting abandoned towers and old libraries.
Diet: Klaatu will eat mostly anything, but do not seem to require feeding to survive. Theories suggest they subsist on attention or consumption of knowledge alone.
