Pokédex Entry: A common superstition concerning Myrristic is that looking into their reflective faces causes you to lose your own when the Myrristic steals the reflection for itself. This fear is mostly unfounded, as cases of such incidents are rare and unvetted.

Myrristic is an oddity among Pokémon. It closely resembles a wall mirror, being circular in shape with two prong-like extensions coming out of its sides. Each Myrristic is slightly different from the next, having distinctive etching on its rim. It is mostly flat, being purple in color, barring its glass face. This is composed of two yellow glowing eyes in the mirror's surface. Shiny specimens are reported to be pinkish-purple with green eyes.

Etymology: Myrristic is a combination of the words mirror and mystic.
Gender Differences: None.
Special Abilities: Myrristic can make anything appear in the face of its mirror (which would happen to be its own face). It seems to have a preternatural memory, as it can flawlessly replicate anything it has seen.
Behavior: Myrristic is an odd species, in that it is a ghost, but thrives off of the light. It is photosynthetic, so it obviously is found wherever there is an abundance of light (ironically, in the opposite place that most Ghosts would be). It is rather shy compared to its evolution, and so is usually led by them and otherwise keeps out of plain sight. However, they seem to display a keen interest in displaying others' reflections. They usually communicate by body language or making pictures of things, but can also speak by saying their names.
Habitat: Myrristic are elusive Pokémon that appear in cities. They gather like moths to a flame, groups of them reported just staring at streetlights. They like urban areas because they not only get food, but there are plenty of people to reflect, even at night.
Diet: Myrristic is self-sufficient, getting nutrition from a process that can only can be compared to photosynthesis.
