Pokédex Entry: Often poached for its very soft coat to make clothing, Follixa is now a protected species. The Pokémon is rare, and some Pokémon Trainers that look for it never find it, especially given how protected the species is.

A very rare Pokémon that is now only common in Safari Zones or nature preserves, Follixa was once prized for its long tail... for which it was hunted for and skinned to make coats and, primarily, women's boas. Their fur is extremely soft and white, with varying bands of light blue mixed in, and is quite thick. (A shaved Follixa is very small indeed.) A nearly completely white quadruped canine, Follixa has a pleasant face with two cute little perky ears. Pink eyes peer out of a snub-nosed face. As far as markings go, on their backs are a spattering of blue specks, while their wrists and ankles bear golden-yellow bands. Shiny Follixa are light purple in color.

Etymology: Follixa is a combination of the words fox, follow and lixa, Latin for follower.
Gender Differences: None.
Special Abilities: None.
Behavior: Very shy Pokémon, Follixa are rarely sighted. Classified as critically endangered by IUCN, they were previously hunted for their very soft fur and are now very wary of humans as a general trait. When befriended, though, Follixa are very loyal to their Trainers. They live in small packs in the wild, numbering no larger than eight or ten. Follixa are known to foster other species' young from time to time, often taking in young abandoned Pokémon or any kind, even their natural enemies.
Habitat: The northern biomes of North America and some parts of Russia.
Diet: Omnivorous.
