Pokédex Entry: These Pokémon work as a crew, happily doing the grunt work a Cawmodore leader commands. It will waddle obliviously through hostile territory, unaware of the attacks that bounce off its metal plates.

A small, squat bird, Cawdet for all the world looks like a little sailor with chubby wings. Black and gold in color, the gold on it is actually metal plating, foretelling its Steel-type origins. The metal covering its black feathers is shaped like an anchor, which is furthered by how their twin tails are positioned when viewed from straight on. At the end of each tail is a wedge of metal which they often use to hit people with. Finally, on the back of their heads is a little round metal cap with a ribbon, just like a sailor's cap.

Etymology: Cawdet is a combination of the words caw and cadet.
Gender Differences: None.
Special Abilities: None.
Behavior: Cawdet, similar to Combee, are apt and determined to follow orders. Unlike Combee, however, it is not hout of reverence or connection to a queen, but out of the strict social structure that Cawdet and Cawmodore follow. Truly, all Cawdet scurry around following the issued orders from the Cawmodore leading their flocks, hoping one day to grow up and evolve into the valiant leader-birds that Cawmodore are. In the wild, they are quick to jump into battle when commanded. In captivity, they form lasting bonds with their Trainers, who they see as kind of a stand-in Cawmodore.
Habitat: Cawdet form rookeries of up to two hundred individuals, with perhaps one Cawmodore for every forty or so Cawdet.
Diet: Cawdet are pescatarians.
