Pokédex Entry: Despite its hefty appearance, it is dexterous in manipulating its free shells for utility and combat. When it becomes bored, it stimulates its mind by creating puzzles and carving them into bark.
Argalis have pure silver appendages (or wings, if you will). Their entire chitinous shells are composed from this thick silvery color and, in fact, consistency. Their bodies are also marked with a thick violet marking, four times around their body, twice on their wings, twice on their antennae, and once on their eyes. The only other redeeming features are, as aforementioned, their antennae which are quite similar in fact to the antlers of a Sawsbuck or Stantler. They have a thick fuzzy mane, also silver in color, resting comfortably at the base of their skull. Generally, they have a purely symmetrical pod-shaped body.
Etymology: Argalis is a combination of the Latin prefix for silver, argyr and crysalis.
Gender Differences: None.
Special Abilities: Argalis are able to exit their silvery shells in favor of another.
Behavior: Their bodies are made of solid silver. Incredibly rare, Argalis are easily startled by approaching trainers and this has lead to their incredible rarity. Argalis are selfish and care very little for other Pokémon, including those of their own species. Very much a Pokémon with a dog-eat-dog mentality. They are highly intelligent, however, and have been known, in captivity, to bore patterns into the bark of trees and play games by itself.
Habitat: Nobody has any idea where Argalis live. They appear to trainers in very peculiar areas with no apparent pattern. They do not eschew sunlight.
Diet: Argalis appear to eat most vegetation, and are partial to meat. They also seem content with human food, particularly potato interestingly.
