Pokédex Entry: A small, erratic animal, Skwerl can live almost anywhere natively, but they are mostly found in forests and coastal plains. If fed often, they will approach humans willingly for snacks and can become a nuisance in places where they scavenge easily.

A small mammal, Skwerl are yellow and white in color with a semi-coarse fur that is softer closer to their body. Their long tails are twice the length of their bodies and, like the rest of them, their underside is white while the top side of it is yellow. Their backs and spine are dotted with small darker yellow to orange spots. With a softly tapering snout and small, perky ears, Skwerl are cute little 'mon. Their eyes are a ruby red in color. Shiny Skwerl are much whiter and frosty blue by comparison.

Etymology: Skwerl is a skewing of the word squirrel.

Gender Differences: None.

Special Abilities: None.

Behavior: Known as the jittery Pokémon, Skwerl are almost always in motion. Even when they're asleep, they twitch in their dreams. They are hyper, excitable Pokémon, often running about in little circles to show their excitement. They skittish around humans when they don't live in civilized areas, but when they do, they typically come down from their trees and accept snacks and food from human passerby's. They literally will live in any kind of tree plausible, so they have an exceedingly far range across their habitats.

Habitat: Forests across Unova and Europe.

Diet: Omnivorous, but leaning towards vegetation. Will eat insects, though.
