Pokédex Entry: A Pokémon associated with dark arts and torture, Voodoom is a terrifying creature in and of its own right. That being said, they tend to have just as much personality as any other kind of creature and are known for being very loyal.

Not unlike an animated mannequin, the Voodoom species is slightly taller than the average human in height and its skin feel very similar to most common sofa fabrics, a mixing of beige and chocolate brown colours. What look entirely like giant pins protrude from over its body, the number of which varies from Voodoom to Voodoom. Across its heart, appropriately, is a heart-shaped red patch with another giant pin which protrude through it on either side. This 'pin', however, does not vary from each Pokémon and is present amongst them all. Throughout the front of its torso is what looks like a criss-cross of white string, which is also present through its mouth, causing its speech and noise to be muffled. Its eyes are large, round, brown and circular, with the white string appearing here too. What the white string is used for or does is unclear.

Etymology: Voodoom is a combination of voodoo and doom.
Gender Differences: The female variation features two patches on either side of her knees.
Special Abilities: If a Voodoom comes into contact with a significant amount of human DNA or other humanoid (including humanshape Pokémon), it is capable of transferring pain to and from itself with aforementioned target.
Behavior: Voodoom are renowned for being entirely aggressive but awfully rare Pokémon. Despite their uncanny resemblance to humans and that they look like meagre dolls, more commonly associated with voodoo and Cajun culture, there's no evidence whatsoever that they are man-made Pokémon, like Castform.
They are ruthless when angered and will frequently chase disturbers for miles should they come too close. Solitary, they are very to themselves and not often seen in the open. They make creepy groaning noises, incredibly similar to the creaking of an old door.
Habitat: Voodoom live in burrows and setts under the ground of fields and deciduous areas, even under desert sands sometimes. They have no need for water, so are very rarely seen near the sea, lakes or settlements.
Diet: Voodoom feast on the pain of other living things, including each other. This is interesting because they do not need to actually kill their victims to satiate their hunger.
