Pokédex Entry: A small, slow-moving Pokémon, Frillarky is prized by aquarists the world over. They are very fragile, but make good Pokémon and have been used for generations as powerful combatants. Frillarky possess a good sense of humor, often being tricksy.

With leafy-looking bodies, Frillarky are sea horse-like Pokémon. They are orange and are covered in white patches on their sides and back. Their leafy protrusions are not all fins, and are mostly there for camouflage. Two of these protrusions are purple. Their skin is very stiff, which limits their movements. Most flit along by moving only their dorsal fins. Frillarky have pipe-shaped mouths that they used to suck up food. Shiny Frillarky are yellow instead of orange.

Frillarky are known for being very pleasant with humans, often befriending divers and swimmers that come into their territory.
Habitat: Off the coast of southern Australia, with some other colonies found in Oblivia.
