Pokédex Entry: A rarity in the world that lives only in the Pacific Ring of Fire, some scientists think there are less than 1,000 of these creatures alive. They tend to live in pairs and claim a volcano to themselves and their offspring.

A purple amphibian creature like its prior form, Akeweber are purple in color, covered in a thick coat of scales. Their mane is thick and bushy, often sought after by hunters for sale. Their body composition, however, seems to be neither solid or liquid, and it's capable of limited contortion, in ways similar to the way Vaporeon can liquidize. Their tail and legs are finned to aid in navigation through the lava flows they often swim in, as well as water from the underwater locales they inhabit. Their gills are protected under the liquid resistant layers of mane around their neck. Shiny Akeweber are blue with red violet manes.

Etymology: Akeweber is a combination of the words web, as in webbed feet, and ember.
Gender Differences: None.
Special Abilities: The composition of its body allows it to take liquid form, allowing it to fit through crevices in the volcanic regions it usually inhabits. They can also withstand inhuman levels of heat, pressure and temperature.
Behavior: Even more solitary than their pre-evolved form, Akeweber do not often come in contact with humans. They spend most of their time underwater or lava. They are not violent either, but they will attack if threatened. Like Akuber, Akeweber are fiercely loyal to anyone they do befriend or become captured by... and they almost always die if they are passed hands between owners.
Habitat: Volcanoes and lava flows, specifically island locations and volcanoes near to water, especially underwater volcanic regions.
Diet: Omnivorous.

Faldera Volcano, Oblivia ■ Rainbow Mountains, Southern Islands
