Pokédex Entry: A small, shy Pokémon that lives in the kelp forests of the world, Keluppy is rather weak, using camouflage to hide itself in the kelp it lives in and off of. It is commonly pestered by Baish and the two are mortal enemies.

Keluppy is a dog-like looking fish. Very small, it is one of the smallest fish in the kelp forests it calls hope. It's body is round and fat, though, typically from being full of kelp. Keluppy's tail is used for camouflage purposes, resembling the kelp it likes to make its home in. Tan in color with a green tail, Keluppy's fins resemble the droopy ears of a dog. Shiny Keluppy are a muted brown and green in color.

Etymology: Keluppy is a combination of the words kelp and puppy.
Gender Differences: None.
Special Abilities: Swallowing kelp whole.
Behavior: Keluppy spend their first-form lives hiding in the seabed and munching on the fast-growing seaweed that grows close to shore. They completely lack teeth, and feed by slurping up the seaweed starting from the tip of the plant and slowly moving down. Keluppy are essential to the health of the reef ecosystem by keeping the growth of the rapidly growing seaweed in check. In areas where Keluppy are not found the seaweed is found to grow so thick that it clogs the waters and does not permit anything else to live there. They are very common in the reefs, but the are so well camouflaged that Trainers have difficulty finding them.
Habitat: Kelp forests in tropical waters.
Diet: Kelp.
