Pokédex Entry: From ancient times, Anadow was the guide in dark corners of the world. Tombs and temples welcomed the light-bearer that would seek out lost souls. They are known to keep look outs on cliffs for ships lost at sea.

Canine or feline in appearance, Anadow are sleek Anubis-like creatures with black skin and yellow stripes. They do not have fur and are rather smooth skinned, similar to a cat of the Sphinx breed. Their stripes wrap around their body in a coil pattern, fining in their flecked tail. The end of their tail is always curled around a glowing orb of light that is disconnected from their body. It is made of electricity but displays none of the static discharge and all of the calmness of a night-light. Anadow's eyes are voids of black with yellow pupils. Shiny Anadow are blue colored instead of yellow.

Etymology: Anadow is a combination of the words Anubis and shadow.
Gender Differences: None.

Behavior: Solitary by nature, Anadow are a little known species found in tombs and crypts and old ruins in the older parts of the world near Egypt. The creatures are calm and wise, their tail a glowing beacon of hope to lost travelers in the deserts and wilds. They are most at home during dawn and dusk, the half-light between sunrise and sunset.
Habitat: Caves and tombs in Egypt and the Middle East.
